An Unusual German Broadsword

With tapering double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with two shallow fullers on each side of the forte, and iron hilt comprising straight horizontally recurved boldly fluted quillons each swelling towards its tip and springing from the central medially fluted sleeve forming a scabbard cover with cusped mouth, vertically fluted fig-shaped pommel with integral button, and leather-covered bottle-shaped grip (2)
