Second Quarter Of The 18th Century
With earlier tapering double-edged blade (some wear and pitting) stamped 'INNHI' between punched pellet marks within the double fullers on both sides of the forte, the ricasso on each side struck with crowned Toledo mark, basket guard of fluted bars of rectangular section involving fretted incised panels with circular and keyhole-shaped piercings, the side-panels with 'ram's horn' terminal pierced with a heart, fore-guards, blunt downbent wrist-guard, compressed bun-shaped pommel with turned decoration around the button, and fishskin-covered grip spirally-bound with three strands of twisted brass wire (Turk's head loose)
