Three Iron Tsuba
Unsigned, Edo Period

The first mokko-shaped, decorated with a crane flying over crashing waves in gold, shakudo, shibuichi and copper; the second of quatro-lobed form, the plain plate decorated with scrolls in brass around the thickened rim; the last Nambam, pierced and chiselled with clouds and waves within a broad rim decorated with numerous Chinese characters in brass, each in a wooden box (3)
