An English 'Mortuary' Hilted Backsword

With broad tapering hollowed blade double-edged at the point, iron hilt of similar form to the last, the guard chiselled with a cavalryman and three portrait busts almost certainly representing Charles I, all against a pierced ground, the knuckle-guard screwed to the pommel and connected by two bifurcated side-bars by double scrolled bars, globular pommel chiselled en suite with the guard, and grip with iron wire binding between Turk's heads (pitted overall)
