An English 'Mortuary' Hilted Broadsword

With broad tapering double-edged blade cut with three fullers over each side of the forte and with latten-inlaid running wolf mark beyond, iron hilt comprising solid guard roughly chiselled with two cavalrymen, one armed with what appears to be a pistol, male portrait busts and scrollwork, tapering knuckle-guard connected to two bifurcated side-bars by diagonal bars and each joined to the pommel by ring-headed screws, the diagonal bars each with central disc incised with a human mask, globular pommel chiselled with scrolling foliage, and original grip bound with twisted copper and plain brass wire (pitted overall)
