A fine Louis XV style gilt bronze mounted inlaid mahogany bureau plat
possibly Antoine Krieger
fourth quarter 19th century

The rectangular green tooled leather top enclosed by a gadrooned banding divided by shaped foliate brackets above a frieze fitted with one long and two short paneled drawers, the reverse fitted with conforming faux drawers and the sides centered by a bacchante and a satyr mask, raised on inlaid cabriole legs headed by zephyrs and ending in scrolled acanthus sabots.
