A fine Louis XV style parcel gilt paint decorated mahogany bed
mid 19th century

The arched headboard surmounted by an heraldic panel with helmet above lion passant and shamrocks flanked by scrolled acanthus over putti frolicking on feathery clouds, the foot board decorated with a fete galante, the serpentine side rails carved with rosettes and scrolled acanthus paint decorated with floral garlands.
