The swan's neck crest centering a wing spread eagle finial flanked by spherule finials above a arched glazed door opening to a thirteen inch foliate engraved silvered dial with a painted moon phase arch above a dentil banded trunk with reeded quarter columns on a plinth base carved with brick work stiles ending in bracket feet.

Footnotes
Maurice Thomas of Carnarvon, Wales, had his shop in Booth Street and was a maker of long case clocks with moon phase dials, tidal dials and astronomical dials. It is recorded that in 1770 he was employed to wind and regulate the Carnarvon town clock.
