An Egyptian revival pendant necklace, circa 1925
The 'solar barge' pendant in multi-coloured enamel with circular cabochon carnelian accents, centrally set with a hardstone Egyptian scarab engraved with a pair of crocodiles to the reverse, between enamel vultures, surmounted by a rectangular hinged compartment, suspended from a necklace of amazonite, lapiz lazuli and coral corallium rubrum beads, some Middle Kingdom Egyptian components, lengths: pendant 5.2cm, necklace 41.0cm, maker's mark GK, fitted case by the Tadema Gallery
