A Susan Sarandon pair of sunglasses from Thelma and Louise
MGM, 1991. Black wire-rimmed aviator style sunglasses with gray lenses. Housed in a black vinyl Lenscrafters case with masking tape label inscribed, "AProd / LIGHTENED / AVIATORS," with studio archive tag reading "0165877F" and "THELMA / STATE TROOPER / SUNGLASSES / (SMALLER)." Accompanied by a copy of the film.
Sarandon's character, Thelma, steals these sunglasses from the State Trooper who pulls them over in the desert. Sensing that he will recognize the two women, Thelma pulls a gun on him, and forces him into his own trunk.
