comprising two tiles, the first of square form, the second in the form of a triangle with one curved edge, decorated in polychrome with a scrolling floral vine, the border with a series of flowerheads and palmette motifs

This spandrel is similar to those in the Double-Cupola Mausoleum or that of the Qazi-Zade Rumi constructed circa 1420-30 in Samarkand as illustrated in Jean Soustiel and Yves Porter, Tombs of Paradise, Saint-Remy-en-L'Eau 2003, p. 142.
