Arabic manuscript on paper, 305 leaves, 15 lines to the page written in neat naskhi script in black ink with diacritics and vowel points in red and black, gold discs decorated with alternating orange and blue dots, inner margins ruled in red and gold, catchwords in wide outer margins, occasional illuminated devices in margins, illuminated rectangular panels between chapters left blank, one illuminated frontispiece in colours and gold, corners rather thumbed, ink inscription on folio 1a defaced, contemporary dark brown morocco with stamped central medallions and cornerpieces of gilt leather onlay decorated with intertwining flowerheads and serrated leaves, edges worn, with flap, repaired, doublures of later green paper
