A gilded ale glass, circa 1770

Attributed to the Giles workshop, the tall rounded funnel bowl gilt with ears of crossed barley, the reverse with two confronting mayflies, the double series opaque twist stem with a pair of spiral tapes encircled by a multi-ply spiral band, 18.8cm high
