A Dutch engraved armorial goblet, circa 1750

Of impressive size, the rounded funnel bowl engraved with conjoined shields with a shell and crown above and angel's head beneath among strapwork, flanked by rampant lion supporters, the stem formed of a beaded inverted baluster above a small beaded knop and a teared inverted baluster, on a small basal knop and wide conical foot, 23.6cm high
