An important commemorative goblet for the King of Prussia, dated 1757

The generous cup shaped bowl engraved with a portrait of Frederick the Great on horseback, after D-N Chodowiecki, the reverse with a shield cartouche of the Prussian Eagle, flanked by inscriptions 'FREDERIC.REX.AGED.47:1757:', and 'GOD.BLESS.THE.KING.OF.PRUSSIA.', on a plain stem and foot, 20.6cm high
