A Zwischengoldglas beaker and cover by Johann Josef Mildner, dated 1807

Of cylindrical shape, the ground delicately engraved in diamond-point with flower festoons and stars, the circular reserve brightly gilded with initials JGC within a frame of gold leaves on a red background, the interior of the panel with a full inscription dated 1807 and signed 'J Mildner fect a Guttenbrunn', the borders at the rim and foot with further bands of gold leaves and guillouche on red and blue backgrounds, the cover with a zwischengold finial, 18.5cm (some damage to the rim) (2)
