Another very rare green tinted wine glass with an opaque twist stem, circa 1760-70

Similar to the previous lot, the green cup-shaped roemer bowl on a hollow cylindrical knop applied with three raspberry prunts, the domed foot also in green, the opaque twist stem in clear glass set with a multi-ply corkscrew, 15cm high

These glasses were probably intended for the export trade and examples usually have pale green bowls and feet in the manner of Dutch roemers. The present lots exhibit a slightly darker shade of green tinting than is usually seen on such export glasses
