The sennin seated, gazing indulgently at his horse poised on the large gourd which he holds over his knees, his robe is engraved with trailing foliage and the gourd is tied with a green-stained bone cord, while a bone gourd flask is attached by metal rings to his mother-of-pearl belt at the back, signed in an inlaid tablet Sokoku. 3.5cm (1 3/8in).
