A tall bronze okimono figure of a mushroom picker

By Genryusai Seiya, Meiji Period
Standing in waraji (straw sandals), taking respite, with a pipe in one hand and a tobacco pouch in the other, a kuwa (hoe) and a basket overbrimming with mushrooms slung around to his left hip, signed in a square seal Genryusai Seiya zo. 80cm (31½in) high.
