Realistically modelled, strutting with its head slightly raised, its body of shakudo with its plumage worked in gilt and bronze honzogan, its wattles textured and patinated in reddish-brown bronze, signed Gyokuichi zo, with separate wood stand. The pheasant 19.5cm x 45cm (7 5/8in x 17¾in), the wood stand 61cm (24in) long. (2).
