Comprising a cylindrical tobacco container, signed with chiselled characters Shuntei koku, 11.5cm (4½in) high; a circular haizara (ashtray), unsigned, 9cm (3½in) diam., the third a matchbox holder, unsigned, 10cm (3 7/8in) high, all carved and inlaid in gilt and silver honzogan with scenes from the Kachi-kachi yama legend; the cloisonné enamel set consisting of a square ashtray, worked in gilt wire with assorted flowers, 9cm x 9cm (3½in x 3½in) and two matchbox holders, both approx., 2.2cm x 5.7cm (5/8in x 2¼in), unsigned.
