Decorated in gilt and silver takazogan and katakiribori, the body inset with a square cartouche enclosing a lone oarsman rowing towards a rocky alcove in the sea, on a ground of five dragonflies hovering above stalks of rice bending in the gentle breeze, unsigned; with integral removable silver liner, with wood storage box. 37cm (14½in) high.
