The exterior of the four en-suite removable rectangular stacking confectionery boxes and sake jar inlaid in aogai with plum blossoms and roundels enclosing assorted flowers including wisteria, iris, bamboo leaves and paulownia, the thin sides of the five shallow rectangular trays with plum blossoms interwoven among ferns, the top of the carrying case lacquered with three fans in gold takamakie depicting kacho-ga, the sides of the case with shippo-tsunagi motifs, the interiors of red lacquer, unsigned; with wood storage box. 30cm x 31cm x 18cm (11 13/16in x 12¼in x 7in).
