The first of Bushu type, carved and pierced with a long-tailed bird over a mass of flowers, signed Harumitsu, 7.6cm (3in); the second of Choshu type, carved in relief and partly pierced with scenes of hunting, unsigned, 7.9cm (3 1/8in); the third of Kyo-Shoami type, carved, pierced and inlaid with pine trees by a river with huts on the shore, unsigned, 8.3cm (3¼in); another with deer and maple trees, unsigned, 8.3cm (3¼in); and a small tsuba in the form of two tigers and bamboo, with karakusa in gold nunome, 7cm (2¾in). (5).
