The rich nashiji ground decorated in gold and silver takamakie with a pair of doves beneath the overarching flowering branches of a cherry tree, the reverse similarly lacquered with a flowering cherry branch, the upright sides bearing an unadorned nashiji ground; unsigned, with lacquered-wood storage box. 33.5cm x 44.7cm (13 3/16in x 17 5/8in).
