The blade by Kanemasa, dated Showa 20 (1945)
The blade of shinogizukuri form, irregular gunome-ha of nioi and much nie with choji-ashi, itame-hada, the ubu nakago with one mekugi-ana and o-sujikai yasurime, signed and dated Bishu no ju Takeuji Kanemasa saku, Showa nijunen, sangatsu (March 1945); koshirae: the saya of ribbed roiro-nuri; with associated fittings, iron mokko tsuba inlaid in brass Heianjo-zogan with grasses beneath the moon; iron fuchi-gashira with shells in katabori with gilt details; gilt-metal menuki; with fabric bag.
