The blade of unokubizukuri form with medium sugu-ba of nie and fine tight itame-hada, a short hi to either side, the suriage nakago with one mekugi-ana, signed Hizen no kuni Tadamune; in shirazaya; koshirae: the saya of black lacquer with mitsutomoe in gold hiramakie; and simple oxidised silver fittings; with fabric bag.
The blade 18.1cm (7 1/8in) long. (3).
