A gold lacquer Shibayama three-case inro

By Yasuyuki, late 19th century
Of rounded hexagonal section, bearing a kinji ground, inlaid on one side with an elaborate display of flowers in a vase on a red lacquer table, a ewer resting at one side, the reverse inlaid with a bird preening itself as it perches on a flowering prunus branch, in dark wood and mother-of-pearl, the interior of nashiji, signed on a red lacquer tablet Yasuyuki.
