A New Land Pattern flintlock Light Dragoon pistol

Round 9 inch barrel; .66 caliber smoothbore; marked on left side of breech with two ordnance marks, a crown over 12 on right side and with a crown in center. Flat lockplate with no border; reinforced cock; marked Tower on tang and in center with crown over GR cypher and small ordnance mark; simplified acanthus leaf engraved at tang and on bridle. Standard brass New Land Pattern furniture; triggerguard bow marked inside with partial small crown. Steel swivel ramrod marked near tip with a crown. Walnut stock; marked on grip with storekeeper's mark adted 180-, broad arrown in circle, initals IY, and a 3 point crown over P stamped behind sideplate.
Condition: Very good. Barrel and lock retain a grey patina with scattered dark spots, some pitting around breech; some wear to barrel markings, and a few light scattered marks from use; lock markings crisp. Brass furniture with mellow patina, some scattered marks from use; buttcap screw filed and possibly replaced. Stock refinished, light scattered marks from use.
