A New Land Pattern flintlock Light Dragoon pistol

Round 9 inch barrel; .68 caliber smoothbore; marked on left side of breech with two ordnance marks, a crown over 11 on right side and with a crown over 4 on tang. Flat lockplate with no border; reinforced cock; marked Tower on tang and in center with crown over GR cypher and small ordnance mark; very small sprig engraved at tang and on bridle, sliding safety at tang behind cock. Standard brass New Land Pattern furniture; triggerguard bow marked inside with small crown and incribed outside K/52. Steel swivel ramrod marked near tip with a crown. Walnut stock with dark finish; marked on grip with undated storekeeper's mark, initals stamped deeply behind sideplate.
Condition: Very good. Barrel and lock have retain a grey patina with scattered dark areas; barrel and lock with scattered light pitting, some wear to barrel markings, and a few light scattered marks from use; lock markings crisp. Cock with some pitting and replaced top jaw and top jaw screw. Brass furniture with mellow patina, some dark areas and scattered marks from use. Stock retaining much of original dark finish, shows age, scattered dents and marks from use, some deep dents and scratches, some loss to wood in area abover triggergaurd spur, apparently from being mounted on wall with a bolt; hairline crack on grip.
