A regimentally marked New Land Pattern flintlock Light Dragoon pistol

Round 9 inch barrel; .66 caliber smoothbore; marked on left side of breech with two ordnance marks, right side with crown over 11, and with a crown over 4 on tang. Flat lockplate with single line border; reinforced cock; marked Tower on tang and in center with crown over GR cypher and small ordnance mark. Standard brass New Land Pattern furniture; triggerguard bow incribed L./Y/C/54. Steel swivel ramrod marked near tip with a crown. Walnut stock with dark tar-like finish; marked on grip with undated storekeeper's mark and two small crown over 7 marks, left side of grip marked with broad arrow over BO and marked with initials and some other unreadable stamped marks behind sideplate.
Condition: Good. Barrel and lock have been cleaned and now retain a light grey patina with scattered dark spots; markings clear, a few light scattered marks from use. Cock with some pitting, lock with dark areas and dried tar-like coating in some areas. Brass furniture with mellow patina, some dark spots and scattered marks from use. Stock retaining original dark finish, shows crazing and age, scattered dents and marks from use, some deep dents and scratches, 1/4 inch diameter hole drilled through grip behind lock tang.
