A Tower flintlock light dragoon pistol
dated 1800

Round 9 inch, .69 caliber smoothbore barrel right two ordnance marks on the left side of the breech. Flack lockplate with re-enforced cock, both with double line border; marked Tower on tang, engraved crown over GR cypher in center, and small crown over arrow under pan. Standard brass light dragoon furniture. Walnut stock with two crowns over 8 on the right side of grip, a storekeeper's mark dated 1800, and IK stamped vertically behind the sideplate. Brass tipped ramrod.
Condition: Excellent. Excellent even grey patina on lock and barrel. Brass with nice unpolished patina. Stock very crisp with good markings and original finish; some scattered marks from use and a small chip missing on right side behind barrel pin at muzzle.
