An interesting cased pair of British police-marked RIC-type double action revolvers

Not serialized, .450 caliber. 4 inch octagonal barrels boldly marked STOCKPORT/POLICE No. 10 and ....NO. 11. Top flats marked Blisset & Son/Liverpool. Birmingham proofs. Blued finish with casehardened cylinders. Checkered walnut grips. Lanyard rings. Together with original green baize-lined walnut case.
Condition: Gun No. 11, excellent, retaining 90-95% blued and casehardened finish showing edge wear and light scratches. Gun No. 10, very good to fine, retaining 40-50% blue, the cylinder with generous traces of casehardening, the whole showing scattered patches of spotting. Both with excellent grips. Case exterior with minor marks. Lining showing some wear and staining and with replaced baize in some areas.
