A .410 gauge custom engraved and gold inlaid Winchester Model 42 slide action shotgun

Serial no. 26797 for 1937, .410 gauge. 28 inch blued barrel with solid matte rib and marked for Full choke. Blued action, the sides engraved with panels of scrollwork, inlaid with gold borders and set with figures of spread eagles; top rear of action with oval stippled panel set with gold eagle head. Replaced checkered fore-end and pistolgrip stock of figured walnut. Pachmayr red rubber buttpad.
Condition: Excellent as redone.
