A north European flintlock cavalry pistol
late 18th/early 19th century
late 18th/early 19th century
The 13 inch tapered round barrel in .69 caliber, breech marked 38 with two worn stamps, tang marked W/22. Unmarked rounded lock. Brass military-style furniture, sideplate and buttplate marked 38. Stained beechwood stock.
Condition: Very good. Metal has been cleaned bright. Stock with scattered marks.
