A composite silver-hilted cuttoe

Slightly curved steel 26 inch blade with double fullers and false edge. Silver hilt with recurved engraved quillons. Lions head pommel connected to guard by silver chain. Green colored bone grip. Black leather scabbard with silver mounts.
Condition: Good. Blade cleaned and filed/sharpened with some scattered heavy pitting and dark areas. Quillons differ in color and method of decoration on each side of guard. Grip probably contemporary. Engraving unusually crude and sharp. Scabbard possibly associated. Small delaminated area at top of blade.
