A lot of two 17th century camp or trade axes

Comprising: 1) Heavy axehead with slightly downcurving blade marked on both sides with three circular maker's marks enclosing five-pointed stars, irregular-shaped socket. 2) Heavy 6 inch head with 2 1/2 inch convex edge, oval socket and flat poll, mounted with a 30 inch haft secured with iron straps extending through the socket.
Condition: Both in excavated condition.
