A transistional Luristani Bronze Age sword
Western Iran, circa 1200-1000 BC

Having a 16 inch double edged iron blade in excavated condition and a graceful bronze grip with flared lower section, two narrow rings at the grip and a T-form pommel with fluted top and downcurving tip.
Condition: Blade with some losses, hilt with fine patina and some incrustation.
