Letter Signed ("Yo el rey"), 1 p, 4to, Aranjuez, May, 1577, to Lazaro Moreno, with paper seal, pale even browning, small insect hole to right edge, matted with portrait and framed to 17 1/2 x 20 inches, unexamined out of frame.

Philip II writes to the magistrate of Ronda and Marbella to congratulate him on the capture and killing of a gang of renegade monks and authorizing the issue of a reward for the capture of another robber-monk. Translation included.
