Volume 1 only (of 3). 8vo. [2], 830 pp. Period half morocco over marbled boards. Edges browned, free endpaper excised at front, binding scuffed with small chips to spine ends and corners.

SECOND EDITION. Includes Marx's 10-page afterword in which he particularizes the changes and improvements over the first edition of 1867. The second and third volumes of this work were edited by Frederich Engels and did not appear until 1885 and 1894 respectively.
