EARLY OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE HOLOCAUST. "The purpose of this publication is to make public the contents of the Note of December 10th, 1942, addressed by the Polish Government to the Governments of the United Nations concerning the mass extermination of Jews in the Polish territories occupied by Germany" (Introductory Notes). Jan Karski, a Polish resistance fighter, having been smuggled into the Warsaw Ghetto and having later disguised himself as a Ukrainian camp guard, reported his observations to the Polish, British and U.S. governments. The present pamphlet describes the German atrocities in detail.
