Document Signed ("J. Tyler"), partially printed and accomplished in manuscript, 1 p, folio, Washington, September 4, 1944, being a four-language ship's passport issued to William B. Cash, commander of the ship Massachusetts, also signed by John C. Calhoun as Secretary of State, with red wax, white wafer seal and secondary seal, light creasing and toning, matted and framed.

Passport for a ship bound for the Pacific Ocean, laden with "provisions, stores and utensils for a whaling voyage."
