FIRST EDITION, SIGNED & INSCRIBED. In full: "Dear Mr. Peck- I'll write a better one next time. Jack London The Bungalow, Piedmont, California, November 15, 1902." Sisson/Martens pp 9-10.
Laid in is a check signed and accomplished by London, drawn on the Bank of Hawaii, dated July 10, 1907.
