2 volumes. Royal 8vo. Profusely illustrated with plates on Japan paper and illustrations in text, decorative gilt and color borders on each page. Publisher's full tan calf, morocco spine labels lettered in gilt, gilt centerpieces and corner devices to covers, t.e.g. Foxing to endpapers, covers and labels scuffed, some wear to corners and edges, faint spotting to lower board vol 1, darkened square to upper covers.

DELUXE LIMITED EDITION, one of 281 copies numbered from 1614 to 1894 (one for each year since the founding of New Amsterdam), this copy number 1633.
