3 volumes. 4to (251 x 164 mm). Engraved frontispiece in each volume and engraved vignettes in text by George Cattermole and Hablot K. Browne. Original brown cloth, spines elaborately gilt, upper covers centered with large gilt clock surrounded by floral pattern in blind, yellow endpapers. Light spotting to covers, spines slightly sunned, a touch of wear to extremities.

FIRST EDITION IN BOOK FORM. A fine copy.
