4to. Printed in black and red. Woodcut additional title, facing page with full woodcut page-border, numerous 8-line and smaller initials and partial borders. Original vellum, spine gilt-lettered, with three cloth ties. Custom quarter morocco case. One of the ties torn; else fine and partially unopened.
Provenance: Robert Heysham Sayre of South Bethlehem, PA (railroad bookplate dated 1900).
ONE OF 300 COPIES. A fine copy, with interesting period American provenance. Sayre had just become vice president of Bethlehem Iron Works (later Bethlehem Steel) when the Morris was printing this work. Peterson A10.
