2 parts in 1 volume. Small 8vo (160 x 86 mm). [8], 192, [2], 146, [8] pp. Half-title, separate title for part 2. 20 folding engraved plates, including 8 BY PIRANESI. Period vellum, manuscript spine titles. Annotation (dated 1926) to half-title, occasional light spotting, some hash marks in margins, some faint browning to plates and small scuff to one Piranesi plate, but overall clean.
Provenance: Bernardine Murphy (bookplate).
