NEUTRA, RICHARD. 1892-1970.

2 Typed Letters Signed and 1 Autograph Letter Signed ("Richard Neutra"), 3 pp, 4to, Los Angeles, June-July 1940, to Blanding Sloan and Mildred Sloan, on personal letterhead, a few light wrinkles, faint browning at edges.

Neutra writes two letters to artist and architect Blanding Sloan, asking him to make suggestions on blueprints for "a crafts center to be erected adjacent to a Mexican Housing Project on which I was and am the consultant," and making arrangements to visit New Mexico to give a lecture. Neutra also tells Sloan he's recommended that the National Youth Administration (of which Neutra was regional director) employ Sloan to help oversee the project. The third letter is to Mrs. Sloan, regarding the trip to New Mexico.
