7 volumes. 8vo (250 x 165 mm). Photogravure portrait, 421 chromolithographed plates after Archibald Thorburn, some heightened in gum arabic. Period green crushed morocco by R.H. Porter. A few plates and several text leaves lightly toned, some shelf wear, spines faded.
Provenance: Constance Melanie Hills of Red Leaf (bookplate).
