Lexicon Aethiopicum. Rome: Propaganda Fide, 1638.
Small 4to (201 x 132 mm). +4 ++4 A-Rr4 A-F4 a-g4. Errata. Woodcut on title and at end of main text, woodcut initials, head and tailpieces. Period mottled calf rebacked with corners renewed, spine gilt, covers centered with gilt coat of arms. Some browning and minor foxing throughout, small old dampstain to lower margin, early notations to first blank and a few marginal notes.
Provenance: C.D.R. (bookplate); Wesleyan College Library (blindstamp to title and in several spots throughout).

FIRST EDITION of this early Ethiopian grammar compiled by Wemmers, a Carmelite from Antwerp. Brunet V 1432; Graesse VII 435.
